Christmas Season

The Christmas season is here! It’s an exciting time for all of us, but also a very busy time for most of us. Our schedules are filling up with parties, events, programs, and not to mention our work schedules. I love the Christmas season for so many reasons, but most importantly it is a chance to refocus our hearts on the person of Jesus. Some would say we do not need a special holiday to remember our Savior because we should celebrate Him every day of the year. I somewhat agree, but I also know we are all human and Satan wants nothing more than to distract or deter us from focusing on Jesus, therefore, a special holiday helps realign our hearts where they need to be.

Here at South Hills we certainly want to give our church family and the surrounding community the opportunity to enjoy the Christmas season. Please do not forget about the Christmas Hayride which takes place the next two weekends. Also, remember on
Sunday, December 18th we will celebrate with a Christmas music worship service entitled “Love Crossed Over” which will include children through Senior Adults.
