Fall

Do you feel a hint of Fall in the air? School is going strong, football season is in full swing, homes and businesses are decorating with Fall décor, and everything imaginable is now available in pumpkin spice flavor. I love the Fall for many reasons, but mostly because it will eventually mean cooler temperatures and a more colorful landscape for us to enjoy.

As our Fall schedule at church is moving along there are many exciting ministry opportunities ahead. Each week we continue with our regular schedule on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. On Wednesday nights we offer Everblaze (K-6), Firefall (7th – 12th grade), Rooted (Young Adults), and Bible Study (Adults) at 6:15. I want to remind everyone we will continue to have a monthly meal on Wednesday nights even though our Business Meetings are now quarterly. We hope you and your family will get connected with us on Wednesday evenings this Fall.

We also hope you will sign up for “NEXT” which is a Friday night/Saturday morning seminar (September 28-29) here at the church to help equip anyone wanting to learn more about impacting the next generation for Christ. We’re bringing in a special guest, Kevin Libick, to lead these sessions. Dinner and a light breakfast will be served and childcare is also available. Sign up on Facebook or at the sound booth.

Another exciting event this Fall will be our Fall Festival hosted at the church on Saturday, October 27th from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. We are already preparing to connect with families in our local community as well as fellowship with our church family on this fun night. There will be a wide variety of opportunities for people of all ages to be involved in making this a great success. Mark it on your calendar and start inviting others to join us.

Join me in praying daily for God’s blessing and favor on our church as we seek to reach our community and the world with the love of Jesus Christ. Have a wonderful week!
