Fall Festival and The Loft

We had a great weekend at South Hills serving God and our community together. I am thankful for each of you, for the prayers, and preparation from each of you, from our Women on Mission stuffing the bags, many others donating candy, decorating trunks, watching bounce houses, cooking, passing out food, smiles, prayers, and hugs. You all made a difference for Christ. I am totaling numbers to have a more accurate count, but we had approximately 250 people at the Fall Festival. A special thank you to the lead team who met weekly to bring this outreach event together. Thank you to the students who painted faces, watched bounce houses, and the ones who ministered with their families at the cars.

I wanted to give an update on The Loft (Youth Room) situation. The room is ready, but not fully furnished. Our goal is to give the students an amazing experience when they walk into this new worship space. They have waited patiently for the room to be completed. We want to have audio, visual, and lighting in place, plus a few other room extras, so we can begin our worship experiences with everything we need. Therefore, we are going to delay moving the students into The Loft until the room is complete. A team of church members is sorting through the details, so we will soon have a definitive move in date to share. We look forward to what God has planned for the students and The Loft. As we prepare for the move, please pray that God will be honored and glorified through the actions and attitudes of all those participating in our Student Ministry.
