Preparing for Resurrection Sunday

We have the Men’s Cake Auction on April 22 at 5:30pm. In the words of Donkey from Shrek...”Cake! Everybody love cake!” Come support our students as they continue to prepare for camp. We will be experiencing the camp theme “I Am.”

We will have an opportunity as a church family to minister to the homeless in Fort Worth on Saturday, April 28. We will be serving at Beautiful Feet. There will be several areas to serve including food prep, worship, and clothes sorting. Please be on the lookout for more information!

In FireFall, students and leaders have discussed and learned from the life of Moses and demon-possessed men (Matthew 8:28-29). Yes, I said demon-possessed men. Through the broken pieces of Moses’ childhood, we can know God can and will use the atypical pieces of our lives. God uses our lives to glorify Him with our story. What we see from the demon-possessed men is an enemy seeking to derail us from glorifying God with our lives. We are no better than demons if all we do is believe (James 2:19). We must honor and glorify God with our lives (Romans 12:1-2).

We are quickly approaching Easter, better named “Resurrection Sunday.” As we prepare for our Good Friday service and Resurrection Sunday, we must bring the broken, atypical pieces of our lives, give them to Jesus, and let Him make us whole. Allow Jesus to fulfill His purpose in your life, and bring peace to the chaos. As we do, we can fulfill the purpose God has given us. Jesus came with the intention of bringing peace through His life, His death, and His resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). We look forward to worshiping with you Good Friday at 6:30pm, and Easter Sunday at 9:15am and Worship at 10:30am.
