OUTREACH

At South Hills Baptist Church, we come together to encourage one another as we worship God, but we also take seriously the command to make disciples as we go (Matt. 28:19-20) into our community, state, nation, and the world.

We have three primary ministry partners that we support financially, through prayer, with volunteers, and through past and future mission trips. Watch these videos to learn more about them:

Pillar Church

Hear about one of our Ministry Partners, Pillar Church in east Fort Worth. Pastor Kaynnen Parker shares about his heart for inner-city missions and east Fort Worth.

Tarleton BSM

Hear from Morgan Little about the Baptist Student Ministries at Tarleton State University and their heart for college students.

Seminaire Baptiste Biblique de Madagascar

Hear from Kayla and Njato Razafimbahiny about the Seminary in Madagascar they are helping to found.

We cooperate with the Tarrant Baptist Association, Texas Baptists, SBTC, and the Women on Mission, a local chapter of which meets at our facility every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Throughout the year Women on Mission collect items for shoeboxes and then assemble them in November. To download the list of items they collect each month, click here.

Our church as a whole, our Women on Mission chapter, and our Small Groups also engage in mission and outreach work with the following ministries: Beautiful Feet Ministries, Christian Community Assistance, Meals on Wheels, The Daily Bread Food Ministry for Southwestern Seminary Students. We also regularly reach out to support the teachers and students of local schools. At Christmas time we adopt some families from local schools to supply Christmas gifts to children who might not otherwise get anything.
